Let the Spa come to you…

Nothing is more relaxing than waking up in your Cabo San Lucas Villa, smelling those succulent aromas of breakfast cooking, coffee brewing, waves crashing and the excitement of knowing that your day is only going to get better after the spa treatment you are about to receive. The big plus-you don’t even have to get out of your pj’s! Yes, that’s right…the spa came to me. I didn’t have to get flustered about directions, considering I have absolutely NO sense of direction. All I had to do was wait for the ladies to come and pamper me. Little did I know what I was about to experience.

My massage therapist came with her table, candles, pillows, fabrics (variety of pinks), a portable cd player, massage oils and creams, aromatherapy fragrances…the works. I enjoyed a mimosa as she transformed my bedroom into heaven on earth. She handed me a plush robe and asked me to change into it and then instructed me to enter my new bedroom. My door was now a curtain, another curtain was hanging at the sliding door that was slightly ajar so I could hear the waves along with the relaxation music she had playing in the background. There were little pillows, candles, elegant accents and flower petals on my bed. It was beautiful and perfect.

The rest, well...massages are great no matter what-I don’t know if it was the fact that I was in Cabo or what, but this one was magical. I thought I had died and gone to heaven! When it was over, she thanked me (I love when they thank you) and I laid there wishing she’d forget about me so I never had to get up…but alas, I did. Can you think of a better way to start the day? Ya, me neither.
