Continental Airlines Flies To Loreto June 2007
Beginning June 2007, Continental airlines anounces flights from Houston
Texas to Loreto Mexico two days per week, Thursdays and Sundays. Loreto is beginning
to reap the fruits of Governor Narciso Agundez's actions to stimulate and consolidate
International tourism in all the Baja Sur.
American Airlines News Release December 2006
American Airlines announced that from December 16, 2006 through April 2007,
it will be offering a new weekly flight departing New York JFK airport, every
Saturday 11am arriving Los Cabos 3pm and returning 4pm arriving at JFK 10:50pm.
Alaska Airlines News Release October 2006.
Alaska Airlines will resume service on October 30, 2006 from Los Angeles,
California to La Paz, Mexico on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Scheduled departures: LA at 11:20am and returning at 3:35pm.
American Airlines News Release September 27, 2005
American Airlines announced today that it has applied to the U.S. Department
of Transportation for authorization to begin service between New York's JFK
International Airport and San Jose del Cabo, in the Baja California region of
Mexico, set to begin on Feb. 4, 2006. American would like to operate two flights
a week during the peak season and one flight a week during the off-peak season.
American Airlines said it would fly the new route with a Boeing 757 aircraft
with 188 seats configured for both coach and business class.
"The Los Cabos region is a popular destination for travelers who want to enjoy its high-end resorts, golf and deep-sea fishing", said Chuck Imhof, Managing Director for Greater New York. "American has served Mexico for more than 60 years and already has a substantial presence and identity at Los Cabos. Regular non-stop American Airlines flights to San Jose del Cabo will be a welcome opportunity for New Yorkers who want to partake in the Los Cabos experience.
